Iron levels in a female vary depending on where you are(were) in your cycle as well as if you have any issues with your cycle (PCOS, erratic cycle). Iron is the highest right before your menses, and lowest right after. (Generally, this isn't a significant change, but would show up on a blood test).
I wouldn't take one test as a "OMG, my iron is low" unless it was very low, but keep track of it over time instead - and note when in your cycle the blood draw is.

Other "female" things can affect your iron levels as well: oral contraceptive use - recent pregnancy, etc.

Cool! Thanks for posting about this. So you didn't use InsideTracker and instead used LabCorp? How much did LabCorp cost?

I think there may be a critical mass of people who want to contribute to Tor who are hanging out at the Pycon sprints this week.

Zooko, LabCorp does the actual blood draw and sends the data to InsideTracker. So I didn't use LabCorp directly, but through InsideTracker.

A guy named Za told me of rumours of a Tor group showing up; I'm interested in joining if that happens.
